Statement from Senator Don White
PennDOT Meeting on Route 422 Improvements

As your State Senator, I have worked hard to obtain funding for road and highway projects in the 41st Senatorial District and am pleased PennDOT continues to move forward on its study of the Route 422 corridor between Indiana and Kittanning.  When completed, a clear list of specific improvements with solid cost estimates will be identified and I will work diligently to secure the necessary funds to bring those proposed improvements to fruition.

Route 422 is a crucial artery for Armstrong and Indiana counties and I recognize that a good transportation network is vital to our area's future.  The public hearing held this evening was valuable as it gave public officials and citizens an opportunity to offer their input on the priorities and concerns of Route 422.

As Senator, I will continue to work to secure funds for not only the Route 422 Corridor but other transportation related projects throughout the 41st District.
